We begin the route at Colonia Güell, an industrial complex for the manufacture of textile products built in 1890 on the initiative of businessman Eusebi Güell. Antoni Gaudí was in charge of planning the complex and designing the church. However, only the crypt was built.
After leaving the Colonia we enter the market gardens in the agricultural area of the River Llobregat until we arrive at Prat de Llobregat, the town which gives Barcelona airport its name. We enter the Llobregat Delta Nature Area. The lagoons, the shoreline marsh areas and natural dunes form an interesting landscape and are essential for fauna, especially migratory birds.
We finish the journey at Bunyola lookout. We can enjoy all the landscape from here.
